How do you store your drill bits?

Though not as innovative as some people's solutions, I have my own straightforward but highly efficient drill storage system.  [smile]
Organised chaos - everything has been strategically placed for quick retrieval and I assume you know the exact location of each and every item  ;)

Yeah I know, right? And it usually doesn't take me more than a couple of minutes to retrieve the proper drill bit, so it's not like I have to compromise on anything.

Alex, didn't you get the memo?

When it came to the T 15+ package Festool's designers decided that accessories shall be stored elsewhere. Nothing but the drill, power supply, and chucks is permitted in the little Sys 1 box.

Quick, where is your charger?

Seriously though the logical solution is to create a separate storage system (Sys) for bits so that you can simply add that to whichever drill it right for the task.

I kept on using my old C(?) 12 long after the batteries became weak because I'd built bit storage into the perimeter of the insert. Finally dumped it all out yesterday so the storage ideas in this thread are very interesting.

Personally i like the trend/snappy style velcro folders. I buy them empty on ebay.

I have one of the small trend/snappy folders in my drill sys holding my most used bits, works great for me.
