How not to install door glass....

I don't know Tom... Some customers would pay extra for that look. Seal it up and sell it!

Cheers. Bryan.

I was thinking of boxing it, put it on Craigs List as a puzzle. [big grin]

Lay down a few coats of shellac, that might hold it together...I like the look.  [big grin]

How did you manage to do this one, Tom?  Which Festool did you use to get this ever-so-unique effect?  [poke]

Many moons ago, long before i had cadilacs removed. i was working at a friends house.  I always wore glasses (a necessity).  For work, i always wore safety glass (a choice).  after work, i was playing with a couple of the family's younger children and one of them threw a doll at me.  i did not see it coming and the doll (we figured one of the glass button eyes) hit a lens of my glasses.  The lens just disintegrated into millions of tiny granules about the size of coarse sugar granules.  A trip to the kitchen faucet and running cold water for a minute or so into my eye and I was as good as any one-eyed person could be.  No damage to the eye. The next day, i got new glasses and i was, once again, two eyed.

Before that happened, i never really knew what the properties of safety lenses were.  i just knew the lens would not shatter into long sharp and piercing shards.
