How to align and lock attachments to vacuum (CT15) hose nozzle?

the nozzle on the hose has some symbols including a triangle which match the connectors on various attachments. my question is how to ensure they latch together and lock properly.

With some practice you'll get use to it. After 3 years of use on sanders & DF 500, the hose never failed on me. When possible align the triangle with the groove on the tool. Push in about 6mm / 1/4" and twist to lock clock wise.
