How to changing sortainer front thumb latches

I am trying to change out the two front thumb latches on a Sortainer.  I do not want to force these out possibly damaging the Sortainer itself. 

What is the trick for popping out these two specific latches.  (NOTE; I have popped out Systainer latches.)

Sortainer latches don't go out as easy as systainer latches, but not that difficult either. I just put a flat screwdriver between the side of a latch and the wall, close to the pivot point, and then gently applied pressure.

Thank you.  I was thinking the solution was along those lines but I was hesitant to experiment.
