How to connect a CT22 vac to a Makita 1013 SCMS

I have a Makita 1013 SCMS.  I'm sure it's not as nice as a Kapex, but man it's a nice saw for the money.  Anyway, the stock dust collection stinks.  I have a CT22 that I'd like to hook up to the Makita SCMS.  Unfortunately, the hose that came with my CT22 won't fit into the dust collection port on the Makita.  Is there an adapter I can buy to make it fit?  Is the CT22 hose a 35mm (the black, tool-connection port end)?

I also have a Ridgid 5" ROS.  Same issue.  Is there a standard size reducer/adapter I can buy to fit the CT22 hose to these tools?  In other words, do most US hand-held tools use a certain diameter that I can buy an adapter for?

Thanks,
Greg

There is an adapter, and it costs a mere $5...

It'll also allow you to use your vac with all sorts of other tools (I use mine w. my Milwaukee sander and my Bosch router)

Disclaimer: I usually keep all my online invoice/order info for everything I buy, but I couldn't find this one. That may not be the exact, correct adapter I bought, but I'm 95% sure it is and that it'll work... I remember the one I bought was for a Fein vac so...

Cheers,
C

Yep, that's the correct step adaptor -- at Coastal Tool it costs $3.75 each.  Get at least two.  You can cut to fit if needed.
