How to do make corners useful for storage in your shop?

Looking for ideas...

I just can't seem to find a good way to make use of the walled corners in my shop.  Cabinets use space on both walls for drawers and doors. 

I can't think outside the box enough to figure something out.  I'm certain others have come up with creative ways to use this space effectively.    [scratch chin]

Giant lazy Susan for clamps?  Park your large power tools mounted on casters?

If you are still in the creation stage, I have this style in my kitchen, far more used space than the lazy Susan approach to me.

Park things in the corner that you just dont need to get to very often. My 60 gallon compressor is in a corner. Just the power switch and valve are all I need to get to most of the time. Water heater and sink in another. Scrap rack in another corner, and dust collector in another. Just stuff I dont move around often. Hope that helps.

Best solution I have for corners is to eliminate them,  they just collect junk. Make straight runs of cabinets/workbenches/tools that don't wrap around the corner. Where a set of benches/cabinets/tools would want to wrap, run one line into the corner, give yourself 3' or so in front of it for workspace, then continue the next line of cabinets and tools behind that (and make sure not to pile stuff in the space).

The wall and cabinet side left open using this method make great space for hanging guide rails, battery chargers, extension cords, etc...

I'm digging this brainstorm. That space between the face of one cabinet and the end of the other could turn into a very convenient close up work area. Walls on three sides to hang hand tools. Can't do anything long, but small stuff would fit and tool access could be great.

I agree with eliminating corners.

For a long time my only corner hide a 30” sq area that collected dust and things I didn’t want to deal with.

When I cut the corner out I got full use of the dead space for drawers.

The space in front can then be used for stools and other things I want easy access to.

At one time, a corner had a roll out cart with a bench mounted tool on top.  At one time, a corner was home to a large garbage can.  At one time, a corner was the location of an Oneida dust collector.  Until recently a corner was home to my Festool CT-36 with boom arm (for sale). 

At this time one corner is for the storage of tall boards and plywood, including left over pieces. 

In the other corner, I am planning to use it now for an old RAM Rockwell radial drill press when it arrives.  You need a lot of room behind the spindle to allow the back and forth movement and so that is what the corner space will be for.  A limitation is that you do not have a lot of room on each side before hitting the wall, but I will have the fixed table flush with surrounding counter tops, and with the spindle extended fully forward, that is about 60 inches from the corner, and with the large support of the fixed heigh table and surrounding supports, I will be fine.  I did the math, hopefully correctly. 

The main thing I have never used a corner for is cabinets.
