I have two systainers that sanders came in; I think they are IIs.  I don't have any use for them; how best to get rid of them?  Sell them here?  Put them on Ebay?  Something else?  How much are they worth?

I really only like selling on CL, but they are too obscure to get any responses out here.

Where are you located? I'd sell here. I'd be interested depending on price/location.

You could do an advertisement in the Classifieds section of this forum.

Rochester NY if anyone is interested...

But what is a reasonable price?  I see them on Amazon for $80 but that seems crazy.

Im wondering the same thing. I have a bunch of brand new SYS-3 Systainers that I have been trying to sell on CL for months and no ones even contacted me about them. Cant move them online because shipping kills it. So there they sit. I would just keep them, but to be honest I just see little to no use for them and would get a whole lot more use out of the money selling them should bring!

I would say that that if you are shipping them you will need to eat the shipping. Which of course means you won't get as much ........ but still way more than not selling and letting them sit.

If in nearly new condition put them on FOG classifieds for however much less than the Festool / Tanos price. Shipping will probably be $20 - $30 (you can do test calculations on USPS.com) to ship between one and three of them.  I am betting you would still get $25 out of each one.

I'd be interested in them if the price is decent.
Is $25 each plus shipping a decent price?  I figure the shipping weight is 14 pounds, so whatever that is to you by USPS from 14424.

Sold!  Didn't get a fortune on it, but at least they won't be taking up shelf space.  Thanks all.
