The end on my hose keeps coming off and I can't seem to get it to stay on.  It looks like it simply "screws" onto the end of the hose, but I cant' get it to start screwing back on. Very frustrating.  Should I cut off the end of the hose and try again?

It is very easy to get it back on. Simply stick your finger inside the nozzle, from the front side. There's a ring inside with the screw thread in it. Hold the ring in place with your finger and screw it back on.

This happens to me all the time, and to others too. Pretty irritating if you ask me. This is by far the most expensive hose I ever bought and it's also the flimsiest.

Are you aware that it is a left-hand thread? If not, that could be why you can't get it started.

If you still can't get it to start, going counter-clockwise, try trimming the hose a little. I use a small, sharp pair of diagonal pliers.

I make up a lot of hose connections and I screw the ring on real tight. I don't think I could get it tight enough to stay for any reasonable period using the reach-through method that Alex likes.

Look at the cuff, there are two tabs, depress tabs (one at a time works), remove cuff, place retaining collar on hose, screw on hose nut (as Tom said counter clockwise) snap cuff back onto retainer.

I've had 2 cuffs come off in 5+ years, never been an issue for me.
