How to Sharpen Fein Multi Master blades

I'd be happy to take part in a group order if others are interested. Guess we need to check up on forward shipping costs - they are pretty small so shouldn't be too dear. Not sure how we would all pay. I don't have paypal, perhaps others do?

Hmm, seems a bit much for what it is.  You would need to sharpen a lot of blades for your mates to pay for that.  In the long term it may work out though.  I'm sure JMB will get one anyway  ;D

You know me to well!

Well. You save £10 every time you sharpen a blade and you will make £2-3 per blade for sharpening for you mates.

So you would only need to sharpen 2O blades of your own blades to pay for its self

And sharpen 100 of your mates blades to pay for its self.

If it can sharpen 40 of your own blades its worth buying.

I'll buy 1!

I'll prob be in also but need to get confirmed prices, like does it include vat, postage ect

Well fellows, you'll have to give us a progress update once you obtain one of these to tell us how well they really work.  I'm quite interested myself but obviously being in the U.S. the price goes up substantially.  I have to ask about VAT is that a tax of some sort you pay in Europe?  I remember reading once before about it but I can't remember what it is.  Sounds expensive, I've been reading some of the sites that you guys have been posting and I see it is added on to in most cases when purchasing items.

I've  enjoyed reading what you guys have been posting, very interesting.

thanks

It is expensive depends where in Europe as they vary but here in the uk VAT is 20%  Mainly trade sites  (tools sites)don't include the VAT or have it printed showing without the vat next to it and also including the vat.  This is because alot of trade are vat registered and can claim the vat back.

Other sites for normal stuff like TV's,  sofas, games etc. bought by regular non trade people normally only show prices including vat only as they have no need to know the price with out the vat.

are you going to get on jmb

I think I will..........     The only thing putting me of is not knowing how many blades will it sharpen before its worn out  and!!! when its worn out is that it? or can something be done to make it cut/shape more blades?!?!?   Looking at it closely looks like its covered in diamond  like a diamond cutter.

Also....... my crappy method of sharpening/shaping the blades works very well for cutting timber and its free.

BUT my method wont allow your blades to cut metal again only wood and this sharfkopf looking at the kinda teeth it creates should allow you to cut nails again correct?

i think it depends it the blades are hardened all over or just the tips when they are made i thnk jmb

True true!  We need to find out how Fein do their blades OR another brand which can also be sharpened just the same and might be hardened right through!
