Hi there!
I am a noob from the land below sea-level, the Netherlands, and like to introduce myself here.
I was a armature woodworker since 1996, but in 2008 i got involved in a road accident that scattered my left wrist and some more joints. So i hided away my tools and had to learn to forget te woodworking.
But recently i became interested by a woodcarving-site and bought myself a few small chisels and learned how to use (but not destroy) my left wrist and to make me a walking-kane.  Now i am determined to pick up woodworking again with the help of a good set of tools and a good clamping-possibility .
That's why i've been lurking on he FOG-forum for a while now and got inspired by the home-brew MFT solutions.

So after 6 years, i dusted off my Festo tools and router/saw table to start some woodworking again.

With the 1400-ruler, a square and a sharp pencil, i draw a squared worktop, drilled 4mm holes and plunged the 20mm holes with a flat?-dril (we call it a spoon-dril) [sad]
But as i place 20mm-bolts as "dogs" and refer to my square, the 90deg. sometimes became 91 or 89deg.

So my question is: what is the best way to have the 20mm holes drilled in a perfect 96 x 96 mm squared setup?

thanks for your reply on this!

I've been through the Amsterdam airport on the way to Scotland many (8-9) times. This last November, I actually saw the sun!

As to your question, in the USA, it isn't too expensive to have a shop with a CNC drill the pattern as does Festool.

Hi Reno,
There are several ways to make DIY MFT-like top. Having said that there is a video posted by one of the members that might help you. Look for "MFT top video" posted by joiner1970.
Hope that will help.
