just my thoughts when i saw the new cordless jigsaw

I managed to sell my Festool jigsaw to my mate, i only used it once.  That now means i need a new jigsaw  [big grin]

I have the c15 & 240volt carvex ordered for the day of release.  Hope they not delayed  [scared]

I was not made on the original festool jigsaw. Poor visability - which, kinda made it not too usable. I sold mine and got ?40 less than what I purchased it for I'll get the new one... Perhaps I should order too ?!?

Totally agree with you on the visibility.  I got 20GBP less than i paid for it so its all good.  The reason i ordered is because my rep tells me demand will be high & supplies low at first.  I just wanna make sure i get them  [smile]

by the looks of things the top handle jig has a second switch to use as a body jig which would be best of both worlds

The old one has the trigger-lock switch aswell, only the opening in the handle seems to small to use it that way. (I went to take another look at it, I thought you meant the handle was detachable)

good point problem is i use a few dealers and the main place i do use for other tools and glue etc that i do have an account with isnt a festool dealer

With reference to Trade accounts, I was in my local festool dealer (Elliots) and saw something better than a trade account.. Two guys walk in, collect about 10 drills and batteries and then run away - full in the knowledge that the guy behind the counter is fat !!

The thing that made me laugh is they know their CCTV isn't working !! Muppets !

I think everyone here is a little bit sad.  I'm just out of the bath where i spent 1 hr watching a Rob Cosman DVD of making piston fit drawers.  Is that sad  [huh]

the thing is i think that users of these forums love their tools and their job and obviously take pride in theire work so it makes me feel a little better
