Am now the very proud owner of a TS55.  Unfortunately my husband thinks it's wonderful as well.  If I  could have a pink version I would stand a better chance of not loosing it (this worked with my watering can and wheelbarrow!)

Hi  [welcome]

I absolutely agree with you. Personally, I think it would keep my wife from using mine  [tongue]
I will no longer have to wonder about how it is that her Festools are always in perfect condition and mine are just never the same when I take them out their systainers as opposed to when I put them back  [scared]

Give these women what they want I say  [big grin]

Cheers

Tigger

Ummmm ..  [welcome]

I do thinking you're possibly looking at a new business opportunity ... The closest I can offer you is Dewalt in bright yellow [wink]

Makita does all sorts of fun colors in Japan.

Ooh, looks like you can get 'em in Canada too. They even have a limited edition gold one.

Please, keeps this under wraps for now, but I've been privy to some inside information they're working on it.  [wink]

[size=13pt]It has been my experience in HW sales, that Pink Tools do not move quickly enough from the shelves. Feminist and experienced female DIYs are insulted by them and women tradies tend to not want to differentiate their tools from male colleagues.

Alex, did you create those images or are they really from Festool?  [smile]

Bit of faulty logic there Mrs. Columbo!  The only reason your husband is not borrowing your wheelbarrow is because it's not fuel injected.  And he won't touch that watering can until its' been fitted with the JetSprayer 3000 Turbo nozzle tip.
I don't think it's the pink that's bothering him.  Just this week I saw a kid show up at my son's cub scout meeting wearing a similar Tee

Festool is actually PINK.

When you look at a Festool, you see some green parts.
This is because the light that is reflected is green, because the parts are pink!!

Gee I after today, should I have written this as quoted?

MsUntidy; [note the Ms], was using my DX93 this afternoon. After about 30 mins she said, "This is a good sander, but could they make it lighter and in Pink?!"  [eek]

I think you should rush out and register the MsFestool trademark real quick [wink]

The OP does have a good point. No necessarily pink, but a bright distinguishing color would be nice. For example my iPhone or IPad black in color. I set it down and have a heck of a time finding them again. So I go get bright coloured cases for them to be able to see them easier...
