Apart from a Dust Extractor/Vac, if you could only have one Festool, which one would it be?

For me it would be . . . .!

I'll tell you later!  [big grin]

For me, it would depend on what you do in a woodworking sense coupled with what you already have.

My first and second Festool Purchases were the DF500 closely followed by the DF700XL they have revolutionised my joint work, providing I cut straight and true boards, no issues with jointing.

I have a nice 10" cabinet saw, 3x various Circular Saws, a Radial Arm saw and a Sliding Compound Mitre saw, and 5 different Routers, my next Festool purchase will probably be a TS55 with some rails, although I am toying with buying a Kapex and losing the Radial Arm and Sliding Compound Mitre Saw.

I would probably say domino too. Alternatives do exist for all the other tools but there is only one domino.

RO90.  I'm judging this purely on usage.  The RO90 is definitely my most frequently used Festool.

For me Kapex.......
or the new Laser Guided Hammer (LGH-1) when it finally comes to the USA

RO 90...It's the most versatile of all the sanders I own.  I can actually use a FESTOOL sander for more than an hour and still work the next day! (I have a condition that I'm very sensitive to vibration)

Since I only have one FOR NOW  [wink] I will say the TS55 but maybe I will change for Domino when I'll get one.

TS 55 REQ. For me and my small area it does everything I need in a saw. Besides jigsaw work of course. The TS has really changed things for me.

I think it would be the TS55 for me

It really has been a game changer for easy accurate cuts on board materials

You could make a lot more if you only had a ts55 .than a domino

If I could only have one I'd huddle up in the corner and give up.

The ts55 was the gateway tool for me and it's usually that way but there are other track saws and routers jigsaws etc there is only one domino so that's it for me.

Is the laser guided hammer actually a thing?

I showed that to my girlfriend and she laughed out loud, double looked and it and said "is that for real?"

I understand the LGH-1 is going to be equipped with HS-00 for when the operator does not get his thumb out of the way quick enough.
