If I got a C15 Should I sell my 18v Milwaukee set?

I've got a Milwaukee 18v drill and driver set that's less than a year old. Will the c15 do everything that those 2 Milwaukee tools can do?  Obviously the c15 is not a driver, but with the removable heads.... Is it really worth keeping the Milwaukee set around?  Please let me know if you have a chance.

I am not familiar with the Milwaukee, but I have used the T15 and own a T18 and CXS.  I would strongly recommend the T18 over the T15.  Its a few ounces heavier and significantly more powerful.  The T18 combined with the CXS is perfect.  If your Milwaukees are only a year old then wait until they die and then get the Festool.

IMHO, no drill will replace an impact driver if you need to drive heavy duty hardware - large screws, lags, etc. into framing timber on a regular basis. No way the C15 or T18 will match it for that.  I have a Milwaukee 18V drill and a C15. The C15 will do everything the Milwaukee will do and more but I still use the Milwaukee for outdoor work in tough conditions. If I were you I'd keep it for a backup as you won't get a lot for it anyway.

First off... Thank you all for a quick response.  Kev, Hockey, and jmb... you are all right!  If I wasn't in so much of a hurry (at work) to make my post... I could have made more sense.  I accidentally wrote it, to sound like I do and don't have a C15.  I did just get one this past week.  I've just started to use it, and absolutely love it!  My neighborhood is having a garage sale in a couple weeks, and I was curious to see if I should sell my Milwaukee tools then.  So, I do have one, just haven't had a lot of experience with it (yet).  Kev and Hockey, I like your suggestions.  When does the Ti15 come out... and what's the price on it?  If its too much I might just hold onto my Milwaukee.  I was also looking at making space in my shop, and of course Festool takes up less space with the systainers.  Thanks again for all the help.

In Oz the Ti15 starts at $AU309. For that you get bare tool (no battery), Systainer and Centrotec chuck).

Things are significantly cheaper in NA.

Consider Syslite $US175 for you, $AU299 for me. I don't think there'll be a similar ratio for the Ti15 though.

For perspective, in Australia the C15 Set is $AU749. At Toolnut the same set is $US585. Maintaining the same ratios, that would put a bare NA Ti15 at a smidgen over $US241 ... so I'd gamble on it being released for $245.

Yes agree ... $199 would have seemed "almost" fair in Festool terms. But it is useful. 2 for $499 in a systainer with extra batteries - that'd be a good set.

Wow, what type of dealer was this?  Do they represent the line well and support it?  Don't seem to have too much faith.  That's pretty bold action and a pretty bold statement by them.

Probably a flashaholic (yeah, another weird hobby I know. Check out cpf.com if you think I'm the only one). But yeah sorry, 300$ for the syslite IS nuts. At that price range, you can buy some serious candlepower.

If it was best in class, or brought something else to the table festool style that would be one thing...

I have the same Milwaukee set--plus the right-angle accessory--and absolutely love it. The drill is very nice, but the impact driver makes all the difference in the world. I also have the recip saw and the jigsaw--all of which use the same batteries.
