I'm tired of winter

I LOVE SNOW!

Possibility of 6" of snow overnight.  This is crazy, it's March 24th!  I'm so ready for spring.

March is prime time here in south central alaska, lots of snow (600"+ on Mt. Alyeska) long days, and the sun has some warmth in it.  Now when we still have a foot of snow in the valley in May... That's when I start thinking about the lower 48.  We have 4 seasons, it's just that one of them is 6 months long.

Greetings from sunny Belgium!

Took the pic from my workshop this month, 4 days before i took the pic we were out in T-shirts under the sun!

I blame the Daffodils.

It happens around there EVERY spring, mid-late March, the days get longer, we do our goofy Daylight Savings Time routine, get a couple nice sunny days, the Daffodils poke their silly heads out and then BLAMMO!!!... another snow storm. NEVER fails to fake me out.

It's the Daffodils' fault...  [mad]

Mike,

I grew up in Upstate NY in the 1950's and I got real tired of -35 degrees F and multiple feet of snow.  Well, 23 years later - I was in sunny California and threw away my snow jackets, wooly pants and since retirement - I only wear shorts year round playing golf [wink]
