Important Tip for Dust Extractor Users

If you observe poor dust collection when using a dust extractor that can connect to more than one hose (e.g. a 27mm on a boom arm and a 36mm for the cleaning kit), check to ensure the hose you are using is in fact connected to the dust extractor, instead of dangling in space while the other hose sucks with all its might at nothing.

Make this check before changing the dust collector bag, adjusting the suction, resetting the breaker, cursing the tool, etc. etc. etc.

Faster.  Easier.  And there was something else...

See that hose connection point?  It is about 7' up and a few feet behind me when I am working.  The peg board hook is where the vac end of the D27 hangs when the D36 is in use.  The first sign of forgetting to reconnect the D27 is usually when it starts snowing on me.  [huh]  :  Makes a nice little saw dust geyser  [mad]
