Besides the more obvious resource the FOG was and continues to be (thanks all at Festool and Mat S) and besides the place where users get their questions answered and their problems solved, the dealers can promote their stores, all of us can get sneak peaks at a the new tools, etc., I would encourage a closer look at the Festool Jigs and Tool Enhancement section. I am absolutely amazed and wowed at the creative/outside the box ideas and executions of said ideas presented there. A big 'THANK YOU" (and a  little envy) to all those posting/sharing. Vi saluto!

The Festool Jigs and Tool Enhancement is easily my favorite section on the FOG. Truly creative minds in that section.

I know with my domino I tend to think about using it like I used a biscuit jointer in the past.  Here is a thread that might get some thought processes going.

We (the group) are bringing together a knowledge base of "how to" and jig and fixture design  that are about to culminate in a new method.  Combining  many of the ideas that have been shared here together will allow the on site carpenter/ cabinet builder to build better and faster than an equaly skilled craftsman using traditional methods at a traditional shop. 

the ability to roll on-site  set up  build  tear down  apply just as much to the hobbyist with a small or shared shop area  they need to be productive with their time and space just like a site based pro.  My quest for a better method started with a large countertop job that added base cabinets  with an 11 x 14 fabrication area.

So you gave in and bought a domino?  I know at the training class you didn't have one yet and really didn't want to buy one, of course until you tried it at the class!

That might have been someone else.  I don't think that Dan Rush had one.  I had a domino - just really hadn't used it for anything.  More practice slots than anything.  The class did make me feel stupid for having such an innovative tool and not using it.  Seeing the 4mm stuff was the final straw.  Now it does travel with me everyday just in case.

Have you closed on the new house yet?  I bet you'll be busy over the winter setting up the shop after settling in a bit and taking care of the immediate projects.

Peter, I closed on the house 3 weeks ago and this past weekend I finally got settled in.  I spent about 2 months packing everything and getting stuff ready.

It took so long to move because all I had was a van and the new homes was 30 miles away.  So 1 delivery a day was about all I could do.  It's going to take a lot of time to set up the new shop and everything is crazy right now.  Thats why I haven't been posting in a while..
