Infinity Cutting tools: SawStop Zero Clearance Throat Plate

I received my PCS last week and realized I need a few zero clearance plates.
Does anyone have opinions on the infinity throat plate?  Seems like a good idea as the Sawstop plates are $49 each.

My take is that the Infinity isn't a good solution for my Sawstop PCS.

What exactly was it you didn't like over the stock plate?  I'm curious because I recently installed the Infinity and don't have any complaints at this point.

I am avoiding it because of the problem that Dan Thomas reported, and some other reports I read about the removable inserts not being consistent.

So I had to call Sawstop on other questions and asked about the insert.  The problem. Have is that the back is recessed so when cutting thin stock it gets caught.  The service rep said he recommends using the dado blade and cut the back for the knife.  I just bit the bullet and ordered a Sawstop one.  I found 2 layers of painters tape work great in the recessed area.
