install new hard pad on Ets 150

Hi there,

a quick question.

I bought the hard pad for my ets 150.  It didnt come with a procedure for instaalation so I took off the old pad and put on the new pad.

after I noticed that the stock pad has some lubrication on it.  I was wondering if before using it I should get some type of oil to grease  the hard pad or will the sander from use do that.?  I just dont want to hurt the sander.

The grease is for where the pad touches the break. The break and pad are consumable so all I did (I had the same head scratching last week) was wipe the excess from the old pad to the new one.

There's no need to add grease to the pad. It can be installed and used as-is right out of the packaging.

I want to be sure as to not harm my 150.  It is a very nice sander....I am a very happy camper!
