Is my '08 Kapex compatible with the newer Miter-Fast?

I picked up my KS 120 EB a couple years ago, used.  It did not still have its Miter Fast angle finder.  Being an older, 2008 model saw, I'm just curious if I buy the current, revised version of the angle finder, will it fit in the slot intended for it on my saw?  Or should I keep searching for someone selling the older version of the angle finder?

Check the EKAT site

Hmm, just gave this a shot & didn't quite find what I was looking for.  Turns out the angle finder itself is completely rebuildable, so rather than getting a suggested part number for my Kapex, I found a breakdown of parts for the angle finder.

I have an angle finder that I could send you. I found it not to my taste and invented something 4 times more accurate

EKAT will also let you select a part and then find which tools that part is used on.

So if you found the angle finder from one model, you could grab the part number from the body (a screw or nut would be too common) and find out if it's used on other angle finders.

If so, there's your answer.

Of course, you could also look up both models and print each of the part lists for the angle finders to a PDF and compare them to see if they matched up, which is just a different way to skin the same cat.
