This may be the only chance to get a sword saw! There is hope because they did not use protection (Vac hose)!  I am very jealous of some of the uk members with there sweat sword saw!  Well this beast will have to do for now, with its 6 1/4 inches I mean 158.75 mm cutting depth.  Now I just have to figure out how to run it on my rails and with my vac.

If you need to make 15.75" cuts and have $8,000+ to spare, these are available in Canada right now!  [big grin]

That thing makes my sword saw look positively petite! [eek]

Yeah it's a bit of a beast. My understanding is that they put a twin motor on too cope with having to rip heavy duty glulam beams. What they found is that when using the machine with a single motor it would go so far then would cut out. What happens is the motors take it alternative turn to work as a team

It is just an electric chain saw on a guide, not impossible to do that cut with a gas powered gas, just not as clean.

I have the single motor Mafell saw its Awesome really cuts square and straight an smooth.
LOVE IT.
