Is this legal? T-shirts with Festool logo on eBay

No, it isn't. I can't imagine for one moment he has Festool's permission to use the logo. Printing one for your own use would probably be excuseable if not entirely legit. Printing them for commercial gain is taking the proverbial.

I do not know the legality of it but they do state "Not an original shirt"
And yes I think it is wrong!!!

I don't follow Festool clothing options.  How do we know these are fake ?

From the ad:

Custom T-shirt Only ( Not an Original T-shirt )

Plus, I doubt he has permission from John Deere, Caterpillar, Ducati, KTM, etc either [blink]

Add to that the disclaimer / message at the bottom of the webpage which would indicate to me that they are aware of their infringements and if called on it they will endeavor to correct the situation.  It doesn't mean that they will do anything other than endeavor.

But until then they will attempt to sell as many as they can.

Reminds me of the guy selling printed copies of Jerry Work's and Rick Christopherson's manuals on ebay a few years ago... [tongue]

Exactly its obviously fake as he is selling all those copyrighted logo shirts aswell.

Weird how my title has been edited I posted "Is this legal" looks like the mods didnt like that not sure why  ??? they added "Tshirts with Festool logo on eBay"

It was edited to be more descriptive.  Recently Shane has asked that thread titles be more descriptive in nature just to make it easier to search the forum.

The Festool logo is well protected by trademark and copyright.

Either the vendor has a license from Festool to use the logo or they do not.

One would assume by not attorneys for Festool have contacted this vendor.

Good luck getting him to stop.....

There is always the e-bay police. E-bay will not keep illegal goods up on there site. Maybe a letter or e-mail form Festool to E-bay might stop the whole thing.

[eek] who would want to buy from someone with a 92%  [scared] satisfaction rating.  I won't buy from anyone with less than a 99% satisfaction rating.
