Issue cutting laminate

I have never used, or heard of “Egger” melamine board. What is it? What are the advantages over conventional melamine clad particle board?
It appears that it is waterproof. At least that is the one claim that stands out. But melamine is waterproof if it is laminated to a waterproof substrate. It also seems to be used for flooring. But there are flooring “choppers” that eliminate the need for most sawing.

Will this work on Egger laminated materials?

My guess is it is a brand we do not have in the US.

We have used this brand panel from Italy, it is not “waterproof” but has a 13 hour water rating. We have problems with chipping and the core on these panels. We cut them on a CNC machine and still have issues. I think this is why most of the new high end edgebanders have pre mills on them.
