i mean they come off somehow, you just slide them off the teeth right? you have to keep track of two nylon covers, and to slide you gotta start the blade in. we have them on crappy saws here too. i didn't think this Japanese saw was special i thought they all come with this wrapping cover
i'm not home this is a good example its a wedge shape bit quicker than just a rectangle. protects the whole thing, you can't lose it and its pretty quick
