Jerry Work's shop tour

Jerry,
Thanks for posting your site!  I just spent a good amount of time browsing all your creations (well, everything you've put on the Web, anyway).  You provide great ideas for some projects I am planning for my home.

Seeing members' Web sites really helps get to know everyone better.

Stay in touch,
Matthew

And having visited Jerry's shop (Thanks for the warm welcome, Jerry!), I can only say that his web page can't do justice to either his work or his shop.

That's a good tour Jerry but not nearly as good as the tour that you gave for Margaret and me when we visited in person.  You have a great shop and home!

Thanks guys.  Sharon and I always enjoy visitors so hope you can take the time to drop by when you are in the northwest.  We are on US199 (The Redwood Highway) that connects US101 at Crescent City, CA. to the I-5 at Grants Pass, OR.  As the name implies, the highway passes through the Redwood National and State parks and up the Smith River canyon in CA and then through the Siskiyou Mtns. in OR.  Beautiful country and lots for the whole family to do and see.  Right across the street is It's a Burl, a great source for unusually figured woods and burls.  Check out their eBay store if you are in the market for bookmatched panel sets.  I normally resaw those to 10mm for them as well as for my work.

HI Jerry, I have a problem getting to your website. I have also have not been able to access your Getting to know your MFT link. I have tried to access it through this site, festoolusa, and Jerry's site, when I can get to it.  I have tried on several different computers.  If others have had problems maybe you could give me some help.  I really would like to see the link and all of Jerry's links.  Please help me, Iam going into withdraws.  Thanks MAC

PS In case you woundred Iam a computer Idiot

Hi Mac,

I just now clicked the jerrywork.com link in Jerry's post immediately before yours.  It worked fine for me.

Either there was a temporary problem ("internet weather") or you've got something happening on your end.

Try it again, please.

The shop tour did not work with the version of safari I have installed but it did work with firefox.

Great work and an excellent shop Jerry!

I am envious Jerry. Maybe if I keep working hard and after all the kids are out  of the house I may get a chance to get a shop like that.

Thanks for all the wonderful information you provide to everyone for free. Obviously you could be making money while you are  writing up and taking pictures for all the reviews, etc, you make. I appreciate all the time you put in.

Just know you have helped at least one person. I have used many of your techniques or take offs on your ideas. Also, I would not have any Festools if not coming across you on the web.

Thanks,

Nickao

Great looking shop Jerry!  PS Do you know how many systainers/sortainers you own or do you need an abacus to count!

I guess I wasn't around when this was posted.  Very nice shop Jerry.  I also really like the stuff you make.  Great style and wood selection.

Impressive shop Jerry.  Hope I can get to that part of the country some day to see it in person.  Really looking forward to seeing the furniture in person also.  I know a picture could never do justice for such beautiful work.
