Lucky to get a TKS80 but wanted to also use the Jessem Stock Guides. Bearing in mind the 19mm requirements of fence to saw blade requirements I decided to add to my fence to solve both problems (I hope!). I value my fingers and cut quality using the guides. Hope you guys like it.

Nice solution and addition. With that addition to the SawStop that completely eliminates kickbacks, you have one of the world's safest saws in your shop.

In case you didn't know, you can use the front roller arm as a stop block for making repetitive cross cuts with a miter gauge (or a slide table in your case).

Very nice. I recently bought the Sawstop job site Pro and found a couple folks who have done the similar installation, and will be adding that eventually.

Goodness knows if Heskythechip will ever be seen again but if so how have you fixed it to ensure stability and easy removal? Or anyone else?

Hi!
Can [member=27885]Heskythechip[/member] or anyone else who has installed a Jessem Clear Cut Stock Guide on a Festool TKS 80 saw tell me a bit more about how you did it, preferably with pictures and info?

I have recently bought a TKS 80 table saw and also ordered the LA fence.
Would like to know how you did to install the Stock Guide on the saw.
Very interested in also purchasing Jessems Stock guides to use with the TKS80.

Thanks in advance!

I just did it dirty and easy on my CS 70 LA. So guess it could be applied to TKS 80 too.
Drilled and used the provided self tappers. Only one row of screws will fit, but it doesn't interfere with the original fence functions. Folds away too and only leaves a few small holes in the aluminium, so no biggie.
Works really great!

Thank you Twst!
I may use your solution.
Are you happy with the combination of the LA Fence and the Stock guides? Is it worth buying the Stock guides?
It would be valuable to hear your experience.

I am no table saw expert, and that makes the Jessem ts guides worth it for me. They really makes me feel safer when ripping as kickback is just about eliminated.
The ts guides hold the piece tightly against the fence and you can reposision yourself during the cut. Even move to the other side of saw to pull it trough. The smoother cut is just a bonus.

I am really happy with the set on the LA fence and use it every cut if I can. It can get a little cramped on the table around the blade guard on the CS70 with narrow/2-3 cm rips.
Most of the time I use a long and narrow push stick from a safe distance and push the stock, and the guides keeps it aligned all the way through.
A-plus would buy again! [big grin]

They are heavy though, so if you move your saw around it adds a significant amount of weight to the fence.

I will order the Stock guides now, I think they will serve me good in the future:)
