I am no table saw expert, and that makes the Jessem ts guides worth it for me. They really makes me feel safer when ripping as kickback is just about eliminated.
The ts guides hold the piece tightly against the fence and you can reposision yourself during the cut. Even move to the other side of saw to pull it trough. The smoother cut is just a bonus.
I am really happy with the set on the LA fence and use it every cut if I can. It can get a little cramped on the table around the blade guard on the CS70 with narrow/2-3 cm rips.
Most of the time I use a long and narrow push stick from a safe distance and push the stock, and the guides keeps it aligned all the way through.
A-plus would buy again! [big grin]
They are heavy though, so if you move your saw around it adds a significant amount of weight to the fence.
