I am not sure how many people have seen this new Jessem Accessory.  One of my customers can't seem to thank me enough for introducing him to these.  Another of my customers has sent me a couple pics and loves his new toy, he is on the FOG and I am sure would post more on here, he has some great pics of him running Walnut through the jig.

Clear Cut Stock Guides

Thanks
Shawn

I saw those on the Jessem site.. and wonder if they would work on the CMS...

Ok they fit and will work great!  It may be advisable to get a bigger or square end to the regular bolt that comes with the stock guides. However Festool side profile of the cms fence has space to accommodate normal (incra/jessem) accessories as well as their system. This is great news!
Thanks
Shawn

Shawn,

What is the maximum and minimum stock thickness that will work with that setup?

Peter

I would interested in knowing if the shop made kit that is sold separately will fit in the CMS slot to insure an even better attachment to the fence.

you could mount them on a shop made aux fence if you need them down lower for really thin stock for that option you'd need the mount kit as well
Myself mine are gonna be mounted on the Incra stuff & I'm gonna get a 2nd pair when I start redoing the molding in the house for the really long stuff .
I like them they are built bullet proof  [tongue]
best part is the ease at which you add & then remove them from a fence  :o

On the CMS the stock guides are 2-3/4" max thickness, and the minimum is nil! It can touch the table if need be.

Thanks
Shawn

hi guys it was on this thread where i first saw the jessem clear cut stock guides and after using them a few times now i must report i love them id also like to share with you a little modifcation ive had made so the guides can be reversed ive done this because i do a lot of edge moulding (8inch tall skirting ect) and got fed up of having to carry my shop made exrta tall fence around so now the guides can be mounted to the table bearings reversed but with the rollers pushing downward ill let you know how succesfull this is in the coming days

Looks interesting.  I like the ones for the router table.  Tagged to see if anyone is using them for a first hand review.

I have used them for a while. I love them. They don't completely replace other methods of getting wood through routers and table saws but they are very good at drawing the board to the fence.

I wrote a few different posts here on them. Several with pics.

Cheers. Bryan.

Thanks Bryan.

It sounds like these would be particularly beneficial for jointing on a CMS. Do you agree?

Would they work with the TS 55 insert? The major problem I am having is not being able to to mount a feather board on the CMS with the TS 55 insert
