Jessem Stock Guides

Those are interesting.  Reminds me of the principle use by the Saw Buddies, Jointer Buddies, etc.  These are certainly more evolved though.

My thoughts were to put something smaller like this on the CMS and the stick would clear better.  Maybe.

I've used one way (or anti-reverse) bearings in other designs & they work great.  I missed if they say what the work piece stock thickness variation the "tires" will accommodate?

This looks like a nice product. I use a similar, but more hefty, system on my table saw, and it is very helpful to be able to concentrate on the feed without worrying if the work piece will drift away from the fence. Especially when dealing with large panels. Not so sure this product is heavy-duty enough for a shaper, though.

It said it would accommodate stock up to 9/16" below the mounting T-slot.

These look quite useful. I'm thinking of ordering a set if they'll fit on my Bosch table.

What I meant to say (ask) was how much variation in work piece thickness before re-adjustment is necessary.

Ah, sorry. The first time I read your post that's what I thought you meant. Then somehow I got to thinking otherwise the next time I read/responded.

I heard the same thing in the video regarding the stock size, but in the video, it sure looks like the rollers can be set more than 9/16" lower than the T slot.

What the 9/16" comment means is that you can run stock up to 9/16" below the T-slot as the guide can only be raised that high. I did not see anywhere how much lower than that the guide can adjust DOWN to as that would be your lower limit. It all depends upon the fence design and the height of the T-slot.

Not having a go at you bob. But what festool product or accessories are cheap? Most of us are willing to pay stupid amounts of money for the neatest little doo dad. Expensive isnt really in fog vocab.

Brings to mind the $100 I spent on the plastic clamping elements for the MFT/3  [scared] The Jessem Stock Guides are much more substantial for a 100 bucks.

No offense taken!  I'm laughing at his poke...it's true and I'm as guilty as the rest.

Like a lot of us on here, I work solo and the truth is I have/will spend silly $ on things that will make my life easier and give a good product!  Having a few $100 items is far cheaper for me than paying someone to stand around and hold a board!
