Absolutely nothing would pleasure me more than to participate in JLC Providence this March.

Unfortunately my physicians have advised me not to travel even to Henderson, NV until May at the earliest.

So, I will be glued to my computer to experience the live stream of the Festool Connect. That was marvelous in 2013!

I have greatly enjoyed this forum for the past 9 months since my fist green purchase of a 55REQ. I must say that I was a bit worried when I felt the green adiction taking over but I soon found that the FOG can be as satisfying and addictive as the tools themselves. This is my first post but I've got to admit that I regard your post as "must read" material. It reminds me of the old E.F. Hutton commercials, "When E. F. Hutton speaks...everybody listens." There are sooooo many GREAT contributors on this form and I mean no disrespect to anyone when I say that you and your posts are my favorite. I will read them even if I have no interest in the original topic because I know that you'll drop a gold nugget somewhere.

So, thank you and be well soon. I look forward to many new posts.

Connect is a great day of info,meet and greets and maybe even some gododies

Yes, Festool Connect is a separate event that coincides with JLC Live. Festool Connect is an event we started a couple of years ago to allow us to, well, connect with our customers. If you want to read more about what it is, you can check here: http://festoolusa.com/connect/ but I have not turned on the registration for 2014 yet. Like I said, that will be coming in a few weeks. It will be announced here on the forum, on our social media and via email once it's ready for sign up.

Last year for Connect, we gave everyone Sys-Toolboxes for free, had free breakfast and lunch, watched some great demos, had Gary Katz and Norm Abrams as guests, and had a great time.

JLC Live is a very poplar industry tradeshow with a lot of clinics for pros. They have an east coast and west coast JLC Live. The east coast is in Providence, usually near the end of March.

Highly recommend going to Connect to anyone who can reasonably make it there.

Festool is more close lipped than Apple when it comes to the Connect Event.  [thumbs up] [popcorn]
