joining two LR-32's

Just a follow up on this... These should be available Q1 2011.

Shane, will they be apart of a kit, or solo? if so, which kit. I'm looking at the LR32 sys kit right now, wondering if I should wait, or not. Wondering if the price would be worth getting the kit now, or waiting. those sort of decisions.

I think they replace the current length stop with the new one, the new one will work both as a rail connector and as a length stop.

I think they replace the current length stop with the new one, the new one will work both as a rail connector and as a length stop.

The LR32 "connector" bars are *not* intended to connect and hold the guide rails, in replacement of the normal guide rail connector bars.
The LR32 bar is temporarily attached into the 32mm spaced holes in order to create the proper offset, while you set the rails square and tighten the normal rail connector bars.

Yes, that's true. Maybe I didn't explain very well what I meant. The new LR32 "connector" as you call them will be able to both get the proper offset when connecting two LR32 rails but they will also serve as a length stop. Therefore the older version of the length stop will be replaced by the new one which is the one pictured a few post above in this thread.

I didn't find a picture with just the old length stop but you can see one following this link. It's the small metallbar in top of the picture I mean, the one with rounded corners.

So, if you order a LR32 systainer in Europe now, you will get it with the new length stop/connector. The 'interior' of the systainer have also changed from a foam insert to molded plastic, similar to inserts in the TS55 systainer eg. There is also a new part number for it, 583291 have been replaced by 584100.
