Just Arrived At My Door - SYS-AZ Drawers 500692

I built a set of pull out drawers into two frames to provide quick access to my most used Festool products. I used 16" over-extension slides I bought from my local Rockler store.

The drawers pull out far enough to have the Sustainer tops fully open and even back over 90 degrees so they stay open without me holding them.

I think the load rating on the slides was well over 50 pounds.

The whole thing is mud ugly, but inexpensive and very functional.

To clarify what I mean is that the lid and or locking knob still "slam" for lack of a better word, against other systainers/sysport. It would've been nicer if they pulled out further for a few more cm so that doesn't happen.

I still don't understand the issue you're having, Jonathan. My SYS-Ports work perfectly with either Classic or T-Loc Sytainers. I pull out the drawer, open the lid, and everything stays just as I opened it all day or, sometimes, for days.

I also commonly use a SYS-UNI for screws, etc. and though it's lid stays open fine, the hard plastic content lid won't stay open on its own. I don't consider it a big deal because while I'm fishing for screws, I seem to always have the other hand free if need be to hold that internal lid up.

Incidentally, I consider Antwerp one of the coolest places on Earth.
