I feel like I've mounted an emerald in a plastic ring ! [eek]
I've been cutting 15mm Fijian cedar ply and it's both messy and surprisingly hard on blades ... (didn't want to use the TS as it's mostly free hand and super accuracy isn't important)
I'll probably find out now if the blade I was trying to cut with was a dud.
You really notice the value of speed control when you use a saw that doesn't have it.
