Kapex 36mm hose to 27 hose?

Excuse me if this has been answered before, I did a search that resulted only in the larger 50 to 36 hose sizes. My question is...
I have a 36mm hose fitted on the kapex which has a large fitting on its other end, that fits into my Midi vac IF I take the vacs 27mm hose and its elbow fitting out completely,  and whilst that works it's a pain having to completely unwind and remove the vac hose and then fit the larger hose from the Kapex into the lid opening on the midi vac. So, can I get a reducing sleeve that will take the end of the kapex's hose and fit it to the 27mm hose from the midi vac? i.e join the two hoses together?
Incidently, I assume this added length of hoses will reduce the vac suction somewhat, but as long as it works it's quicker and easier for me as I then wheel the vac away and use it immediately with the sander (so a pain to have to re-fit the elbow and hose end etc in each time).

You could certainly make an adapter to do that but, that arrangement will most certainly reduce the dust collection noticeably. You will be restricting the airflow before it gets to the larger D36 hose. That plus the added length  will probably not be any better than just hooking the D27  right  to the Kapex. You could test it by just rigging the hoses together with some tape to seal them. That would be good enough to test it out.
