Kapex -- cutting wider stock

Quick question for other Kapex owners.  When I cut wider material than say 150mm, the cut is not perfect -- there is a slight .001 blade mark or less on the side of the board that you can feel with your finger or see and I have been trying to figure out why.  It seems like it is my technique that is causing the issue.  There is no lateral movement of the saw head that I can see or feel, everything glides smooth and I clamp the pieces I am cutting in most instances.  I also really try to concentrate on making a straight cut in one steady motion.  Anyone else experience this?  Smaller material cuts are all spot on, I only notice it with wider material.  Perhaps it is blade deflection or a slight pull to one side or the other when I am making the cut.  Everything is perfectly square to the face and to the sides.  I am also using the standard blade.  Any thoughts or suggestions are much appreciated.

Scot, this is minute blade deflection.  When the starts blade exits the backside of the material the stress/deflection is released.  That causes a bit wobble in the blade and that causes these marks.  It can be hard to stop this problem.  You've got to carefully allow the saw to cut the material without forcing the cut in the least.  Even then it's still hard in softer materials.

Scott try slowing down your cut and let the blade stop before removing it from the piece.

Thanks, guys...I will try varying the speed and it does seem like very, very slight blade deflection.  I think I also might be slightly moving the saw head at the end of my cut too -- it seems like it is more prevalent when I cut on one side verses the other.
