Also, the KS60 is far too expensive for a compact saw, that is only 4kg lighter than its big brother. So in essence I don’t think enough people have bought one to actually generate any significant noise about it, good or bad.

The orig. Kapex 110v wasn't reporting motor failures in launch year either.
It will take a while for enough units to get in the hands of users for any relevant sample size. That could take a while since the 60 isn't offered in one of the largest markets: N. America.
