The adjustment screws are under the plastic sticker which acts as a dust cover. To adjust, one needs to remove or pierce the plastic sticker and then either replace that sticker or tape over it to seal once the adjustment is made.

Are you sure? It doesn't say anything about the need to seal the holes after adjustment in the manual.
In my case the lasers need minor adjustment after almost every transport (it's not that big of a deal, it doesn't take long, I only need to remember to bring the board I use to check and adjust them (a piece of mdf, the kind with the white coating, about 30 cm wide) )
BTW, The guy on the Australian forum, that had returned 10 kapex saws, said that the laser has been redesigned, so by the time it 's available in the US, it probably won't need that much re-adjusting.
just heard back from festool the uk model kapex has been redesigned and is now ready so am going to purchase it again been using a makita which is very good but just doesnt go with the rest of my festool stuff sad but true. lasers wont need realighning as before and the have tightened up the cutting tolerances. Also have been a few probs over the blade lock knob now hopefully resolved only took a year to work it out! lol
If it really turns out to be a such a major improvement, I hope it's retro-fittable, and the parts aren't too expensive. but then again the ones on my saw aren't as bad as the ones he described earlier.
