Kapex question - how did/does it work for you?

i've had mine for 5 years (replaced a DeWalt 12" that was not sliding". I love it.

I think mine is a little out of square right now, but i was installing hardwood floor with it, and i definitely saw my dad messing with it being confused as how to use it :p

I had the Bosch 4310 (10-inch), then the Bosch CM8S (8-1/2-inch), and finally I got the Kapex KSC 60 — and nothing even comes close in terms of cut quality, dust control, and overall operation.

Bought my 2009 vintage Kapex with UG cart and extensions in 2015 for right at 50% of the then list price. I considered it a fair deal then and I still do. The guy I bought it from had two Kapexes and decided he didn't need both.

Like several others, I have had my Kapex for more than a decade. I have never had any accuracy issues and never had to recalibrate anything other than a slight adjustment to one laser. It’s expensive for sure but for me it is also a joy to use. I also have the UG cart and wings which make repeatable cuts easy and accurate.
