Kapex Spotted

I like the irony that she is the saw dust girl but uses a saw with the best dust collection.
maybe we can get her to join here

That is pretty funny!  I have followed her blog for a while, and it seems as though she is a recent adopter of Festool.  I first saw her use a track saw (the gateway drug).

She should join the FOG!

Posted a comment on her latest blog post (the one with the Kapex).

Sandra,
How 'bout joining us on the Festoolownersgroup.com forum. Your latest blog was mentioned in the forum because of the Kapex and CT sighted in the piece. We'd all like to interact with you regarding your use of Festool tools!
Cheers,

Frank

Let's see if she comes and visits! [big grin]

Howdy Y'all! [big grin]

First, thanks for inviting me.  I've never joined a forum before -- read the comments lots of times when I've been researching whether or not to buy something or other.

Second, I named my blog a LONG time ago, before I even knew about Festool...but I'd still use that name 'cause I kinda' like it.

Third ...I have purchased quite a few Festool items now and haven't found one that I don't love.

Hi!

welcome aboard.
unfortunately  you are going to be exposed to the awesome reviews and ideas members post. I have been transformed from not needing something to must have it  as soon as possible by some reviews.
as much as this is a forum for all things festool we are very open about constructive criticism of festool and other brands

I first saw her use a track saw (the gateway drug).
Or the drills.
Or.....

It's funny,  I was at a local wood supplier sponsored Gary Katz road show event.  Another gal with a DIY show was perusing the green tools and went on and on about owning the tracksaw (3!) and how the latest one (REQ) and the improved features. I was already leaning into the wind about when (not if) I was going to buy one.  Took about 3 months.

Welcome to the forum!  Yes, you will find many folks here helping you spend $$$$ on Festool, but also- more importantly to me- how to best use your investment in great tools to their full potential.  I have found many new and interesting ways, for example, to use my Domino for more ways than just joining two pieces of wood.

Enjoy!

BTW- the trim molding you show in your blog is outstanding!

Regards,
Gerald

Hi!

I visited your site and just might have to order a T-shirt for my daughter...
