Hello,
I have the Kapex with the mobile trolley with extensions, but I'm thinking about selling the trolley and buying the Kapex mft - will the extension arms/wings still work, or is there a height, or attachment issue?
Thanks, Lincoln.

The current wings attach directly to the Kapex. There are v-grooves on either side of it.

But how do they attach to the mft?

They also will attach to the MFT/3, directly to the aluminum extrusion that is the outer frame, ("profiles" in Festool lingo). The MFT/3 is the same height, (900mm), as the Kapex on the UG stand or on the MFT/3 Kapex.

The MFT/3 Kapex, is shorter so that when the Kapex is sitting on it, the MFT/3, CMS, folded up UG stand handle are all at the same height as the Kapex work platform/turntable. It's a system - and 900mm is the magic number...

Make a pair out of aluminium/ hardwood if there is a way of attaching bloccks to the side of the dewalt? Or make them over long and use the dog holes in the mft top for location pins. :)
