cheers to our kapexs guys!..all you need is a 36mm hose now :)
Waiting for tooltown delivery......

Sorry for the delay,  We've had so many orders we ran out of parts!!  Not to worry, more parts on the way.

If anyone else is interested, the Kapex Hoses are on sale through February 28 ($85 normally $90).  Call to order.

You will get the sale price even if we don't have the hose in stock.

Ken,

What is the length of the "Kapex Hose"?  Also, I bought a CT-Mini with my Kapex. Do I need a separate adapter for the 36mm, or is it already on the Kapex hose?

Cheers,

Frank

Our hose is a 1.75 meter (5.75 foot) length of 36mm antistatic hose with a vac end and tool end connector.  It fits directly into the mini with no problem and no adapter needed.

Here is a pic of the hose attached to my ct-midi.  The hose goes up through my counter and attaches to my Kapex.

OK... me want one! [big grin]

Put me down, and I'll contact on Monday unless you're open tomorrow (Sunday).

No rush as I'll be going back to Africa again on Friday for six weeks, so you can fill the other demands, and ship to me whenever, but I'll pay when I call.

Cheers,

Frank

Does Incra sell 100" lengths of the flip fence? I did not see that option.

Have you determined how you will work out the stop/blade distance relationship yet? Long wooden attachment maybe?

Ben, these are two 50" rails. No 100" option as far as I know as well.

Already got some 3/4" birch ply to build left and right wing extension using the sawhelper bracket.

It will be 12 inch wide to accommodate the bracket to attach the INCRA fence on the back of the fence (roughly equals 3 inch behind Kapex fence).

I also bought left and right side tape measure from Starrett to use on the Incra rail.

Cool. What do you use to connect them together? Im planning to build the same type of system and thought it would be cool to load 50" sctions into the truck and slide them together at the job site. I just havent figured out how/what to buy to accomplish that.

Thanks!

I don't think they fit. I think I tried that. Gotta check again, but you need a bracket to attach the INCRA Track anyways....
