Hoping someone can help me here. started having problems the rails of saw not sliding very well anymore

I imagine you already made sure the lock knob is not partially tightened.  Also, you could try a light weight lube to see if that helps.

That is the first thing I checked. Called festool and they also recommended a light oil. Thanks
