Kreg Beaded Face Frame System

http://www.kregtool.com/kregclubnewsletter/beadedvideo.html  This looks to make beaded face frames a whole lot easier but the price seems really steep.  I was thinking it would be in the $200-250 range.  They're asking $499.

Maybe I am missing something, but... Instead of investing $500 in Kreg's system, you can machine the mitre joints including the jack mitre joints using the Festool-based techniques taught by Brice Burrell in This Thread, or using essentially the same technique as shown in the Kreg video if you have either an Incra or JoinTech fence machine on a router table, or a sled jig on any other router table.  A 45 degree chamfer bit with its bottom bearing removed can be used to create the jack mitre and the relieved areas of the corner mitre joints needed for the beaded members.  And you can use Domino tenons to secure your beaded and mitred frame members, or joint them with pocket hole screws as taught by Kreg.
