As anybody used then on an MFT/3?  How do you like them?

I did a quick search and the only post I see, the OP said he puts a shotgun hull on them to make them fit tight.  Any thoughts?

I use them quite often but never for precision work. I don't like that 1 mm movement but they are great for rough clamping and using them as spacers for your work surface  The rubber grommet actually holds flat panels pretty well from slipping

You can get the slop stop from tool nut to correct the play.

Only slop stop i know of is the one for the guide rail to support bracket for the mft  Am i missing something?

i somehow accumulated about 30 of these dogs so i wouldn't mind using them more often. I tried wrapping the shaft with a layer of tape but that doesn't hold up

It might be easier to just get some 20 mm dowel and cut it down.

Cheers. Bryan.

Kreg ones will not fit snuggly since they are 3/4.  Qwas are pretty close (19.8-9mm), but for even greater precision you might want the Parf dogs, which allow you to lock them down with a knob.
