Wish Festool made a cordless Laser-Guided LG55 (trackless circular saw) that doesn't use tracks, but would stay self-guided on course by tracking the signal sent from a self-projected "Festool Green Laser Line".  It would have a vac hose off the rear (as it does, presently) ...but, would include an internal vac that circulates across the front of the saw blade - so that fine dust doesn't shoot out the front.

Can I please have some of the drugs you're on. They seem to create awesome hallucinations!! [drooling]  (And maybe won't show up on my regular Pee Tests for my flying job! [tongue])

Cheers,

Frank

Now you're speaking French!

Add to that...an internal computer where you can set the angle of the new cut and/or also set parallel rips. Sorry, Peter...no more royalties on Parf dogs...or parallel guides. [scratch chin]

You left off the hands-free tractor drive with cut-rate-sensing technology to keep the saw from bogging in really hard woods, the plunge drive that would never start the cut too soon or let it run too late, and the depth-sensing technology so that it would cut the material thoroughly, but never scratch the surface of the MFT/3...
