I wonder why Festool doesn't produce measuring and lay-out devices like Woodpeckers, Incra etc.
I'd be a certain customer, 'cuz i like some of the stuff Woodpecker does, but the cost for transport+ VAT makes import prohibitivly expensive. So, an international player like Festool ought to have/ get customers.
What's your take?

I'd deffo be in for high quality measuring and marking gear from a Euro manufacturer.

I don't think it's the type of thing Festool would do, but I'd love to be wrong.

We've got some great offerings in Oz from Vesper, Colen Clenton, etc .. but nothing that rivals the range of a Woodpeckers, Bridge City, etc.

You can get some very good measuring and marking gear out of China via Aliexpress.com, but you really need to know what you're buying amongst the thousands of lemons [sad]
