In this thread "LR32 enhancement" a member has replaced the thumb screw on the LR32 side stop with a lever type screw. The same type that the MFT flip stop has. I've had a little trouble getting my fingers on the thumb screw on the side stop, I think this idea would be a great improvement. Thanks SouthernGuy.

The original post is in  Jigs, Inventions, & Tool Enhancements , this one is in Wish List. Makes sense to me. It's just referring to the other one in case someone looks here. Someone who doesn't search very well.

Christian O. is a busy man, he likely doesn't have the time to check all the threads. I know he keeps up with the "Contact Festool" and "Wish List" areas. That is why I posted here.

We never get too far from snotty, but it seems like only a real man ever admits it.

Reading the original post and this one, a ratcheting lever would be ideal.  I don't have a part number for metric, but I've seen the imperial versions on Woodcraft and Rockler's sites.

I'm in full agreement on this solution.  My stops are particularly annoying to use, as the thread is too short and comes apart from the nut when loosened -- mine need at least another half turn of thread.  Removing the washer works to obtain the additional thread I need, but replacing the knob/stud with a  lever (like used on the stop on the MFT's fence) would be a great upgrade -- much, well, handier.  ;D

The limit stops supplied for use on the guide rail to limit to and fro travel of a saw or router on the guide rail use the identical part number bodies as the side stops for the hole drilling jig, and come with those levers.
