Tried looking here but the parts the diagram is just to small for me to make out.

festool ekat

In the attachment pic, once the parts that align and lock the track are in place there are little stops that I can butt up against them and tighten.

I need 2 of the stops. I moved the track to cut along the long length. I'd like to get a few stops before I move it back to cut along the short length.

Thanks

Did you know you can zoom in on the parts diagram?

Are you talking about the feather key and screw? Parts 4 & 3 on the attached image?

For some unknown reason, Festool has placed these stops to the right (cut side) of the support brackets rather than the left. This means you have to feed the brackets on and off a longer distance than is really needed. So, once you have the support brackets in the desired location, remove the stops and install them from the other end. Now it will be easier to install and remove your support brackets.

Also, you may want to purchase an additional rear (hinged) guide rail support bracket if you want to use both a FS1080/2 guide rail and a FS1400/2 guide rail on your MFT such that you can leave a rear hinged bracket mounted on each guide rail. Since you are looking to purchase another set of stops (feather keys), you obviously want to be able to restore the guide rail to a specific location. Yet, the act of installing and uninstalling the hinged support bracket onto the guide rail may alter the alignment that you've worked to achieve. This may not be needed if you square your fence to the rail each time you reinstall the guide rail, but if that's the case, then you really wouldn't need any stops in the first place, if you follow what I mean.

Just something to consider.  [smile]
