Looking for suggestions for ETS 150/5

??? I just purchased an ETS 150/5 with the Midi vac set up.  My first project is the top to a small entertainment center made from red oak.  I am looking for any hints that others have used in regards to speeds / grits / vac speed / etc.  My first impression is that this is a great tool and I am looking forward to purchasing more Festool stuff.

First, welcome to FOG! You're going to love the your new ETS and Midi. As for speed on the oak, I'd use it at full speed and try the vac's suction turned down to about 1/3 power or so. The Rubin abrasive is made for bare wood, it's not bad but I like Brilliant 2 a little better as it's a better all around abrasive. I'd try grits 80-150 for your oak. Ditto to what Brice said. No need normally to go any higher than 150 on red oak.
