hi there.
i had  (on broken pc) a website that sold rubbery plastic profiles that you would slip over edges of sheets and doors etc to protect them on transit and allow you to tie them without squashing the edges.
i remember the site being a uk site  and it said they were reusable.

i often bring sheets of ply and mdf and insulation on the roof rack of my van.  tieing these is a neusence as youy have to get cardboard to protect everything. im fed up with a bin full of card to dump .

can anyone help
or any ideas on home made ones

Rhino again  [big grin]

A rhino roof rack makes it dead easy to transport sheet good almost with out the need to tie them down.    With side board stops and front board stops their is no way of it sliding about  the only thing you need to worry is wind!   one strap from front to the back is enough to keep the boards in place.

i was thinking that for the ply etc but for multiple sheets or sheets of aero board  etc it wouldnt stop the rope breaking it
